Cursing Crafter's back at it!

I crafted so much crap, er...stuff for the holidays that when I got home from our break, I put it all out in the garage and refused to look at any of it all month long. The problem with this is that I follow Jen's blog, Tatertots and Jello. If you don't peek in over at her blog once in a while, you're missing out on some great, easy, and inexpensive crafts that you could be doing.
That's where I got the idea for this craft. If you want the instructions, click here.

I actually think the wreath ring wrapped in ribbon was kinda cute by itself.

Start gluing on the cupcake wrappers....

I used 3 different patterns of wrappers.

I even had my lil guys helping me with scrunching the wrappers. A very kid friendly craft; they loved it!

When I was done I hot glued the leftover red ribbon that I wrapped the ring with to make a handle.

Finished product.

I think it took me an hour to do this, so that's a major plus for the Cursing Crafter.

Cursing Crafter Rating: SCC (single curse craft)
The only reason this rates any curse at all is because I burnt myself on the hot glue twice. And it wasn't a real word anyway, it was like, "fuuuggg..."

If you wanna make one of these, know that even the CC can do it with limited problems, which is a huge bonus!

Go! Make it! Have fun!

Great job girl! I love it. I too will be making one. I'm not sure if I'll use cupcake wrappers or fabric yet though! I better get to it!

How cute is THAT!? If there's another snow day tomorrow, I'm going to stock up on supplies for the girls to make this.

Very cute!

I think I will do one using the cupcake liners from cupcakes I have eaten first. Sort of a reduce, reuse and recycle project.
Of course it won't help reduce the size of my ass.

Ha, you rated it, that's funny! I haven't fallen in to the crafting trap yet. Scrapbooking is about as close as I get, and I haven't even done that in months.

I love this, but I'm thinking you could just make it for me....

VERY cute!!! I'm quite impressed. Ahhh how I wish I were crafty. I just saw one over on http://flowerpatchfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2010/01/valentine-book-wreath.html that looked so cute as well... it even made me think for a second (just a second) that I could maybe do it.

Uuugggghh - I freakin' hate it when you show something cute like this and make me think that I have time to do it. That is absolutely darling and my kiddos would love me so much if I made it with them. Probably not gonna happen, though. All your fault :) That just makes ME a CC wanna be

That came out adorable!

Okay, so I was banned from crafts by the Girl Scouts back in '89, but if I were allowed to do them, I think I could handle this without hurting myself or others.

Maybe.

Your wreath is too pretty to just be paper. I love it! Sending you good luck at Bacon Time. I fixed the button too. I am finally feeling better. I had a headache this morning and trying to figure out my simple button dilema took 5 times as long as it ussually would. I felt like I was trying to do calculous after 3 shots of tequilla. LOL
PS your boy is such a cutie.

ooooooooo, I just got some really cute cupcake wrappers. So cute I really don't want to make cupcakes in them. I think I need to give this a go. Thanks so much for linking to Link It Up this week.
