I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

I hate to feel left out.
So I'm totally going to join in on the International Workspace Tour with The Only Girl and other fabulous people who have showed us their workspaces.
I think you all know I'm a stay at home mom, so I don't have an "office" per se.
In fact, most of the work I do, besides blogging, doesn't require a computer, so I'm going to show you my other daily haunts. The places where most of my work is accomplished.
Come with me as I show you "my office".

I have 2 workstations, because I'm too messy to keep it to just one.
You can click either one of these pictures to biggefy and get a close up look at the mess.

Here is the "inspiration" room. Where I come up with most of my crafty ideas. While surfing the net.
Biggefy to see my "butt mark" system.

Usually there's a laptop in there amongst the Hotwheels parking lot.
It was clean yesterday, so I took advantage of the opportunity to take a nice picture.

I spend a lot of time in one of my 2 breakrooms.

After I'm done in this breakroom, I head to the other breakroom.

(don't tell me coffee doesn't make you pee. or poo.<--- ignore that.)

I also spend a lot of time travelling for work. Pick up/drop off, bank, post office, store, etc.

Some days I get to spend lots of time doing this:

(i wish my washer and dryer looked so white and clean.)

I'm not showing you a picture of the "cooking area", aka: stove. Why? Cuz I spend as little
time there as possible!

These are my bosses.

They can be royal stinkers.

But all in all, I'd say I'm pretty lucky.

Oval office. bwaa haa

Also, props to the kid for getting a rug burn under his nose. I'd ask how in the hell he managed to pull that one off, but I've got 2 kids of my own, so I realize that they are able to do all kinds of weird shit.

Yeah, the rug burn under the nose caught my eye too.

I'm loving your living room set up...lots of seating.

You have some awesome work space. I do hope the benefits are good! LOL

I love all your little labels in there. I must say that you do utilize the many areas of your home. Now that means that you're up and on your feet moving much more than I am.

Your boys are sweetie pies!

YES. I LOVE your office. Just a few comments.

1. You have a lot of fake fruit. I like this idea and might have to copy it.

2. That is the biggest ottoman I've ever seen in my life.

3. How did your son get a rug burn under his nose like that? You would think the nose would have been affected in some way. Amazing.

4. I just laughed out loud at the coffee thing. Because it's true.

Your house looks nice! And I like that your living room has lots of seating.

you call that messy? That is the most organized crafting spot I have ever seen. Oh have I got a picture to post today.

(okay, I have to ask...which photo editing site lets you make those skinny squiggly arrows?)

:)

What a nice large office you have! And those bosses....boy do they look like slave drivers! I just took my post coffee poo(<---ignore that).

Gee... you must like the taste of plastic fruit...
Your house looks so tidy and clean! I'm jealous! Even the butt prints on the couch look tidy!
You are pretty lucky. Oh and I gave your neighbor the stink eye.

Yay! LOVE it! Particularly that your "office" isn't necessarily an "office", but mostly functions the same way. My comments;

- there's seems to be some significant fake fruit. What with the Muffin Top to Skinny Jeans thing, you might want to get some of the real stuff
- I love your kitchen table/workstation!
- Holy ottoman Batman! You could probably use that as a spare bed, no?
- you are correct about the coffee/poo thing. Unless I'm at work. Then that correlation is broken.
- please drive immediately to the nearest gas station - you're on "E". Or maybe the car is turned off. But I'm concerned for you.
- VERY cute bosses. I can see why you keep this job.

Thanks for playing Mimi!

I'm so glad you played along! i love being all nosy up in people's stuff.

Thanks for sharing. I definitely need a ginormous ottoman/hot wheels parking lot.

Wait...you have a breakroom?! Most of the time, I don't even bother shutting the door on mine, because I will inevitably hear "knock knock knock...mommy, where awe you?!" I think you're the only person I know who would come up with "oval office" to call it! Excellent!
Very cute bosses!
I think it's hilarious that you still call your cricut "contraband".

Hey! My office looks like yours! My breakroom is the bathtub....ahh, Calgon, take me away....

shortmama said...

Are you sure that is an ottoman because it looks like a landing strip!!!

Ha ha! Oval Office.

Jen said...

OMG you crack me up! My kitchen counter - er, workstation - looks very much like yours. Just add in some school papers in transit, and there you go! (Loved the unfinished craft on the library book!)

You are lucky to have such a comfy looking sofa. I want me one of those. Ours is really only good for watching TV in one spot so whoever gets it is king. The other one is just uncomfortable & doesn't usually stay long :(

Hilarious! You're so funny. I love your workspaces and break "areas". You are definitely one lucky girl!

What a great office!

I love that huge ottoman. It looks like a great place to spill a glass of red wine...which is what I do to my own ottomans.

Sheila said...

Adorable - I love it!
FYI-I had a CLOSE Amish encounter yesterday....I will be posting pics later this week for you!

You are so funny. I love it!

Can everyone please take the loud talking down a notch? I am trying to sleep in the inspiration room, while watching a neverending marathon of The Hills.

Thank You.

I love your bosses. While they look very cheeky, the cuteness makes up for it.

My office tour will be similar to yours.

Heather said...

Equal opportunity sitter.....hahahaha! Loved that. I am one of those too!

LOL...you're so funny. One of the many things i love about you. Well, you already know what my twi-office looks like. I have to slave through the day with Eddie's pensive glare and Jake's intense stare. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Sassy Chica said...

chica you crack me up..I too spend much time in the coffee break room:)

Thanks for the tour, it was entertaining!

Smooches,
Sassy Chica

That is the messiest I've ever seen your house. And it wasn't messy. You are one hard girl to live up to, geez Macey! You are one lucky lady!! :)

Unknown Mami said...

I'm so happy to see that your home is not a maze of cubicles. That would suck!

Myya said...

You crack me up! I LOVE that ottoman... I wanted to take it home with me when I was there... my girls would get TONS of entertainment out of it! Man, I wish my house was clean like yours sigh.

Your bosses look pretty cute. :)

Tara said...

i am SO jealous of your office! wish mine was more like yours! :)

Erin said...

Love this post! Cute idea. Since I don't work per se, mine would look very similar to yours. only sans crafts and sewing machine. Cuz I ain't no Martha.

Michelle@DomesticationoftheSingleGirl said...

Let me know if you get sick of your table & chairs, I really like that set.

Your bosses are fabulous. The perfect combination of hilarious and cute. They look tough, though.

I'm fascinated by this post, justsoyouknow. I have a thing for living spaces.

Would The Bottomless Pit's awful nerf dart gun fit in your contraband holder? Let me know. I'll mail it to you.

(Yipes. The rug burn. Poor boss man. : /)

My work space is a lot like your but I'm just too freaking tired this week to take pictures.

By the way, you're house looks so welcoming!

Oval office FTW!

Your counter looks so much better than mine.

This looks like soooo much fun, but we're not allowed to have cameras at work...not even on our phones.

Anyone who says coffee doesn't make them poo is lying through their colon.

I drink coffee and within 15 min., I am swiftly heading toward MY oval orifice.

Wait. Ew.

Ally said...

That's great! Funny, I love taking photos of my work space and now that I'm unemployed I miss having that second computer and second work space. My apt sucks so I don't like to count it :(
