12 Days of Christmas Awesomeness

I don't know if you all remember this, but I signed up for the 12 days of Christmas swap hosted by Sami and Evelyn at the very last minute. It was peer pressure. I couldn't take it. Everyone was bugging me about it, "Why aren't you doing it? When are you gonna sign up? If you don't do it we have to cancel!" stuff like that, ya know.

Okay. Fine. So nobody pressured me. Whatever. I just couldn't stand to see so many friend do something and not jump on the bandwagon.

In case you're wondering, if all my friends jumped off a bridge? I totally would, too. So. Call me if you ever feel like doing that?

My lovely swap partner is a super cute girl named Jen, who has a gorgeous little girl named Abby. She's also a Scentsy consultant which made me love her even more, which is just about impossible because she's so stinkin' nice and cute and friendly and all that. For reals.

So without further adieu...here are my 12 lovely packages.

One...
I highly encourage you to read this book every year. It's such a good story!

Two...

Those candies were so good. So. Good. The coffee I haven't tried yet, but lemme tell you how good it smells. Well, I can't really tell you how good it smells and your computer probably isn't a smellavision type thing so...just imagine. Caramel...truffle...Homer Simpson's donut drooling comes to mind.

Three...

The most adorable angel ornament. Hand crafted from Ten Thousand Villages. Have you ever been to one of these stores? They're truly amazing. Beautiful artisan work and such a good cause!

Four was a gift for my little boys!
How sweet of her to add something for them!
Big Boy got a book of Mad Libs that he started on right away.

Little Boy got 2 new Hotwheels...he was in heaven!

Five...

The cutest socks ever! I'm wearing the red ones as I type!

Six...

Hazelnut Cream Coffee...again, drools.

Seven...

A yummy Maple Butter scent circle for my car and 3 awesome Ghiradelli chocolate/mint candies. That picture was before I murdered the candy and ate the evidence.

Eight...

Homegirl did her homework...I love a good book! I can't wait to start reading this!

Nine, Ten, and Eleven...

Scentsy bars!!! Snowberry, Newborn Nursery (no that's not a clue or hint, people. sheesh.) and Cozy Fireside. My house smells so good right now it's ridonkulous!

 Twelve...

Hickory Farms Melt Away Mints. Have you had these? They are amazing!

Wait. That leaves one more which makes Thirteen...

This is a handmade bracelet from Ten Thousand Villages...they are little coins and aren't they adorable? You can wear it or just carry it around for good luck! It's so cute and I love it because, again, the money goes to Ten Thousand Villages, a really cool organization.

Okay. But seriously, that makes 13. Or 15 if you count the boys' gifts that were each wrapped separately. Poop, this makes me feel bad, because I sent 12. And also? How come I didn't notice this was more than 12 before? I suck at math. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

The best part about this swap was making a new friend! I adore Jen and I wish her nothing but the best.

And. And? And! The first post I read by her had a teaser in it about something she wanted to share but couldn't until Christmas. So I totally badgered her until she broke and I was in on the secret before anyone else! She's pregnant!!!

This made me unbelievably giddy, for some reason. Srsly. Couldn't contain myself and I wanted to tell everyone I knew even though nobody would know what I was talking about...blog...swap...partner...wha...?! Yeah.

People just don't get me sometimes. Weird-o's.

If I get you, does that make we a weirdo too? Cause if all my friends jumped off a bridge, I would too. Who wants to be alone?

This was a supercool idea and I'm glad you shared with us. Makes me want to sign up next year!

Aww, Mimi... I ♥ you! It's been so much fun getting to know you; I'm so glad you were paired with me. Although, I wish I'd been more on top of things and numbered your pkgs and at least told you WHY I chose it all! Anyways, I'm so glad you liked everything!

And... obladi oblada... Better get some quick! Newborn Nursery is only available through the end of the year. :)

Believe it or not, my dad and Richard Paul are very best friends and my dad is listed in the back of the Christmas Box book under Richard's "thanks".

Now that I have name dropped, great post.

My SiL and I were totally talking about the jumping off a bridge thing on Christmas. And we both agreed we would too!

Those were such thoughtful gifts too! And I would die for some of those meltaway mints. Those are my fave! I need to go find some now.
