We have rain here too. Our weekend consisted of a trip to the grocery store and then blob hood on the couch. Nick did find an Easter egg hunt to take the boys too while I lost the battle against a cold. So yeah, not to exciting here.

I bet you read the book Water for Elephants first huh? Is it a good read? Should I do the book or the movie first? I never can decide. HAPPY MONDAY MIMI! You are currently the first blog I read today! :)

My fun for the weekend was working 12 hours on Saturday and then planting veggies and a flower garden, oh and don't forget the laundry.
I am craving salt right now...that's all I can think about is salty stuff. I have been eating pretzels like crazy and am thinking about making a special trip to the store just to buy that big jar of them. Maybe I should look up a pretzel recipe and just make them myself...that's an idea!

Lourie said...

I could do deserted for at least week. Let's do it.

Dessert...anytime.

Craving...my pop...haven't had my morning fix yet.

Well my weekend is over...and well it cost me $200. (We went to Wally) nough said.

Your bday falls on Friday the 13th this year! I'm one of those that think the 13th is lucky though, so I'm kinda jealous :)

I'm not Gywneth's biggest fan these days at all!

Boobies said...

Totally wanna see that movie..Even though Reese spoke ill of R-Patz and his hygiene...doesn't put me off! ;)

Helene said...

I still haven't read the book Water for Elephants so I'm not sure if seeing the movie would be totally confusing for me!

I hear ya on the nachos! I could eat MY weight in nachos and still want more!!

What did I do this weekend...well, I went with 2 of my Macaroni Kid partners to the local Asparagus Festival where it was attended by over 100,000 people...and we managed to only get 100 subscribers in a total of 3 days. Yeah, it sucked THAT bad.

I keep going back and forth on Water for Elephants. I really can't decide if I want to see it. It looks good, but I hate Robert Pattinson.

Sami said...

I love how you just threw "Gwyneth Paltrow" out there for really no good reason. LOVE!
Great, now I want nachos.
I have made a mental note of May 13th. Watch out!

Connie said...

Very nice.

Now I want Nachos.

I went to see Atlas Shrugged and it seemed to be the best place to find a boyfriend with a job.

:)

I cannot WAIT for that movie. And your irritation is my irritation. Always.

I've had Water For Elephants on my Nook to read since xmas. Maybe wanting to watch the movie will light a fire under my ass to actually get it read.

Nachos really could be the food of the Gods.. chips, salsa, cheese, peppers, veggies? Plus, they go really well with a frosty Corona.

Do you really think Water for Elephants will be good? I'm so undecided. You watch it and let me know!

Hubs and I went to an "art festival" downtown, it was supposed to be an all day event. There were three booths outside and maybe 5 inside. Boring as hell. He ended up pissing me off because he has no patience and was rude to an elderly couple lol. We took a ride down to see his friend at the airport. In.total.silence.

I decided to forgive him when he took me to my favorite Mexican place on the way home! Haha!

Dying to see WFE {yes, I'm too lazy to type it out ha!} and I'm over the government dramz. Gobstoppers sound good now...

sarajo said...

UGH! Not fair, now I want Gobstoppers. Wanna send some up to a pregnant lady??? J/K!

My weekend consisted of watching my husband clean. Going to church. And sending husband off to CA for a few days. Not exactly fun.

This post is all sorts of awesome. Did you make it up or is it stollen? Seriously, if it is yours you need to give the ok to let everyone else steal it & give their answers.

You.Are.Funny! I ♥ you & I am super annoyed that it has been so long since we've hung out. Wonder if we will more often after our road trip... of course cuz then you'll see how cool I am!

I had nachos tonight for dinner...gluten and dairy...ASSisted suicide. Now that was effin funny

Erinsgobragh said...

It's all yucky here too. It makes my arm worse which doesn't help my mood either. I want to see that movie too but I'll be waiting till it comes out on DVD.

I really don't get the bacon craze. First off, bacon? Really? Second off, bacon in sweets? That is all kinds of gross!
I am also completely agreeing about the weather and government. We are no longer friends. The weather may have a chance to come back on my good side, but the government? I am a little too annoyed right now.
I just love your list.

Ooooo oooo, someone's getting ready to have a birthday!! 29 again?

You already know that I'm SOOOOOOOO ready for WFE on Friday! I'm beside myself. I'm feeling just as stoked about this movie than I would feel for a Twilight premiere...and that's saying a lot! SOOO absofreakinlutely excited!

Vivienne @ the V Spot said...

Gobstoppers? For reals? I could get behind Milk Duds, Whoppers, Twix... something with chocolate. But Gobstoppers? You're on your own.

But I agree with you about the nachos.
xoxo

McVal said...

You snuck that RIGHT in there!!! Where can I send the nachos for your birthday?

Miss Angie said...

I need to read and see Water for Elephants!

Also, I've left you an award over at my blog, go claim it!

Gwyneth Paltrow said...

Have you read my new cookbook???
I know I am slightly annoying
that I don't eat AT ALL but pretend that I cook all of the time
that my children have the dumbest names EVER
that I can NOT sing but love to to do so on every music award show

but still...I think we would be great friends
You can order the nachos, and I will judge you, while texting Madonna about my husband that I never see

and really? Reese Witherspoon? You want to see HER movie? What about Country Strong? Wasn't I brilliant????

call me :-)

Candice said...

Bacon sundaes? Seriously? Why not just induce a heartattack and get it over with?

BTW, I'm excited for your birthday as well because I should be holding a fresh newborn baby by that time.

Yippie!

I am frustrated with the weather. It seems that winter just doesn't want to end.

I don't know if I want to see Water for Elephants. I like Reece but can't stand Pattinson. Please let us know what you think.

I am sick of the government too. I am actually looking for a job in another country somewhere because I am so sick of being an American. I really want to be an ex-pat. At least for a while.

Colleen said...

Taking advantage of your random post for a random comment: I love your new little bloggy protection that will keep anyone from copying you, but it screws up my "right click -> open in new tab" habit. Drat.

Also, I want to know how you did it.

Xazmin said...

I already read this before. But didn't comment yet. Why do I do that? idiot.

What do you want for your birthday?

Heather Pranitis said...

I think I want to read the book first and then see the movie - either way, I hope you like it. By the way this was a smashing post - loved reading it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who feels the same way you do...on a few of your items.

Mrs. Petrie said...

I'm looking forward to Water for Elephants, too. And Mr. Petrie was saying he wanted nachos, so I thought I'd make some for dinner. Yummy!
