We're back!

If you've been following MiMyMa on Facebook you already know that we are, in fact, back.

Which is a boo/yay situation.

Boo to missing Mamarazzi and her husband and dog and all the fabulousness that was MiMyMa Summer Retreat MMXI.

Yay to seeing our husbands and beds again. I must say I had a very comfy bed at Casa Mama, so I didn't miss my bed that much.

I'm having a hard time doing a post right now, because there are too many things to talk about or say and I can't get it all together in a cohesive way.

We have over 800 (eight hundred!!!) pictures and videos uploaded to a site that only Mamarazzi, Myya or I can access to sort through and pick from to add to posts about our vacay.

How do I even begin to narrow that down? By days? By fun places we went and things we did? By funny anecdotes that go with almost every single picture? It would take days. Weeks. Months. Years.

So I will start with the beginning. The most obvious, to me, point that I must start with.

First: We had a fabulous time. FABULOUS. And, no, I'm not just saying that because it's on the blog and I want everyone to think we had a fab time, but we really didn't.

Second: I thought I would have a good time. I knew I would like Mamarazzi. I hoped she would like me and I knew she would like Myya. I figured she'd like our kids.

Third: I wasn't sure I would have a good time. Nobody can be sure about these things, right?

Fourth: I'm blown away by the amount this vacation exceeded my expectations. Completely blown away.

Fifth: Mamarazzi is like her blog; but not. She is herself on her blog, but her blog is only about 10 percent of the person she is. Isn't that the way it probably is with all of us?

Sixth: I knew I would like her. I already said that. I did not know that I would love her. Super a lot. Like, so much, she's a great friend who I will always love, a lot. That's a lot.

Seventh: She got me addicted to The Bachelorette.

Eighth: I feel weird blogging without Mama on my left and Myya on my right.

Ninth: We have the most epic stories ever. For reals. I'll post a video we made below that might give you an idea. I'm not sure if this is in the video or not, even though I've watched it, like, 18 million times...but...

Ten: I AM Indiana Jones.

Pay no attention to the fat chick in green. She's irritating.

So, now that I've made the list of random crap that I didn't mean to write but somehow magically appeared up there, and you've hopefully watched our 13 minutes of hilariousness, I'll go where I meant to go in the first place.

A huge, huge, huge, ginormous, hugeantic (<--- that's Little Boy's word, he made it up.) thank you to Mamarazzi and her family for welcoming us with open arms. Fast friends online doesn't necessarily translate to real life, but, thankfully, this time it did.

Thank you for the time, money, thoughtfulness and worrying you put into this trip. Thank you for making it happen. Thank you for the laughs, the tears (<---yes, there were a few. hello, 3 hormonal women?), the memories, the friendships and the experience that will be the experience to live up to from now on.

And. Thank you for the pre-emptive invite for next year. Because even if Mamarazzi and her hubs thought it was a disaster and hated us all? We love them, and we are so totally going to be back. Yep. Uh huh. I said it. And you can't hide cuz now we know where you live! And where your mama lives, so if you do hide, we'll just camp out at her house! Ha! <--- that sounds like i put too much time into this, doesn't it?

And you can take it to the bank because I am Indiana Jones!

Seriously, you all, I can't gush enough. We were in the trenches with each other. 5 kids, 1 dog, 3 women and lots of parenting; scary moments and funny moments. We bonded. It's real. We are in love. <--- was that gross? oh well.

I loved the videos. They made me laugh big time! I say this all the time and I'm gonna say it again. I'm JEALOUS! How about a weekend in the HELL next year? It's not that bad here. I promise. I want to invite all my favorite bloggy friends here and drink, laugh, swim and make fun of the swingers. Sound like fun?

I love internet friends. I have so many more that I want to meet but glad for the handful that I've met so far. I completely understand the bond. =)

That is SOOOOO awesome and lordy you crack me up!!

I don't think there's anything 12 yr old boyish about pretending to be Indiana Jones. Totally woulda done the same thing. I was expecting stories about burping, farting and laughing at body humor or something. I was totally fist-pumping you...like "YESSSSSSSSS! I SOOOOOOO knew we'd get along well if we ever met and this just confirms it"....and then it was playing with the pool hose LMAO....still works.

"You could see her scalp through her hair" I'm still snorting.....you kill me!

I loved the video and I totally get your new {kind of} found love for Mama.

I'm so glad you three had such a great time and I cannot wait to see the pictures, not all 800 but a few dozen would be nice!

awww...i love you back. planning was my pleasure and i am happy to do it every year.

i love the screen shots that are at the beginning of the videos...you look so bored...lmao.

i also love that you like Mamarazzi and the "real" me too. We are a little different than each other. does it sound like i have a split personality? i guess i might. i will speak to my therapist about it. ;)

you boys are darling, i love that little boy rode his first roller coaster with ME! they are great kids i really fell in love with both of them...even tho big boy tried to kill you in the pool...it all worked out...tee hee.

and YES you ARE Indiana Jones!

love you much, smooch the boys for me!!

oh i almost forgot...today Coco was scratching at J's door, so i let her in...she got on the bed and said, "i demand to know where MiMi is"

it was weird and kinda deja vu...i thought you should know.

I have to admit, I would have been a little nervous to take a long trip to hang out with someone I'd never "met" but it seriously looks like you all had the BEST time together! I loved the videos! Kudos to whoever snorted when they laughed once. (I totally do that, too.) :o) I'm looking forward to seeing pictures soon! Glad you're back!!!

You girls sure did have fun! Glad you didn't drown. And yea I think my husband would go insane if I had that many people in the house :)

Vivienne @ the V Spot said...

What. The. Hell. Were you guys drinking when you made this video? This is hilarious! Listening to you guys describe the near-drowning was like listening to a bunch of hysterical people describe a bank robbery and which way-did-he-go...

So glad you all had a fab time.

vlogging suits you all. Not me. But you guys, yes.

You better quit saying your IJ - because do you know I have the hots for him? Now don't you feel uncomfortable?
