For the Love of Books!

Okay, ladies (and, like, 1 guy...?), here is my first giveaway! It was just going to be a book recommendation at first, because the book is definitely worth buying, but when I talked to Shauna, the awesome author, she offered me 3 (three!!) books to give to you!

How exciting is that?! Super. Duper. Exciting! If you ask me. Which I did, because it's my blog, and I can.

Anyway! So, let me introduce you to the book and my review of it and then I'll tell ya what you have to do to win it.

Here's a snippet of my overly long and semi coherent review:

"...with all families, there is a measure of tragedy and tragic circumstances. [this book also] goes into the issue of abortion. Don't worry, it's not taking a stand for or against. You see from the eyes of Caroline's dad the reason why he, himself, is against the procedure. However, that is not the lesson to be taken from this book.

What resonated the most for me throughout the book, is that sometimes when tragedy befalls someone...ie, a brother, a sister, a child...it is not always THAT person in particular that is hurt most by the void that is left from the circumstances. Sometimes it's the ones closest to them that are hurt or affected most."

One of the absolute best parts about reading this novel, for me, was to know the writer as a blogger! That's right, that's how I first knew of Shauna Nosler. As a blogger!

I, for one, love it. Loved the book, love reading Shauna's blog, love it all! Can you feel the love??

Anyway, to be one of the 3 lucky winners all you have to do is this:

Follow me here.

Follow Shauna at her blog!

And leave me a comment.

That's it! Although, it would be nice if you left her a comment at her blog, too, don't you think? Also, leave a comment for each thing you do since I can't do the maths very well.

I'm going to leave this giveaway open until Sunday, December 4th, at noon. That way I have enough time to notify the winners and get your information to Shauna so she can get the books out as soon as she can.

I only have one thing left to say...

Yay!! <--- see? lots of !!! going on.

I follow you already! And I would love that book. Already the subtitle of it has captured my attention. That phrase is SO true. The limitations put on my childhood dreams definitely shaped who I became. Now I am going to go and say hi to Shauna!
