It's cool because usually polish is shiny. This is what's called Matte/Velvet. Notice it's dull sheen?
I love the color but I have to say that it chipped off in huge chunks the next day. I wonder if it's only supposed to be applied in one coat or if it's the texture of the nail polish itself.
It's on my toes and it's doing great, so who knows?

I never do my nails. They are constantly broken and I can't be bothered.

The last time I used nail polish was when my SIL insisted on doing a mannicure spa with the girls and myself. I think it an attempt to keep me from scratching people with my claw like chipped nails. I wore pale pink.
I can never get nail polish to stay on my finger nails. Just about any kind chips off in huge chunks with a day. However, I can keep just about any polish on my toenails indefinitely. Go figure.
I like this color and the matte finish.

And I loooove that color! but I have to say, I'm not a fan of matte polish. I have a really pretty blue one, and the time I used it, it was all I could do to not put a top coat on to make it shiny!

I feel so put together when my nails are done. Thank goodness the polishes are better these days and stay on for more than just a day.

I love matte polishes! I have found though that only one coat will work or they chip. That is a really pretty color!

I pained my toenails last summer. In June to be exact. In preparation for the family reunion. Is it gross that I am still wearing the SAME coat on my big toe to this day?
That colour is so pretty. I never paint my fingernails but love having my toes done and this would be a great colour for that!

That is pretty and I'm sure it is the finish that makes it chip like that. Bummer because it's great! I love polish but I hate the smell and waiting for it to dry.

Love the colour! I've had nothing but problems with matte polishes. They chip like crazy and I find it's hard to get an even second coat.

I'm a little addicted to all things nail related. I try to always have polish on my nails. Mine break and are so brittle otherwise. In fact, so are my toenails. I wonder if it's from years of biting them! HA!

I haven't painted my fingernails in forever. Bella painted my toenails last week and all I can say is thank God it's not sandal-wearing weather right now.
I want to try the shallac stuff. Nail polish never lasts on my nails BUT I've almost always got it on my tootsies.
