Confession

Photobucket

(confession: i'm missing this girl ^^^ a lot this week.)

I confess...I'm pretty much over my little freak out/obsession from last Friday. Got it fixed. And it was a little more involved than I would have hoped, but it's all good now.

I confess...I'm addicted to this blog. The Frugal eReader. It posts daily, sometimes multiple times, about FREE or really inexpensive books for your eReader. I have downloaded 13 FREE books this week alone. My Kindle really will want to kill me.

I confess...I want to murder death kill my scale. Down 3. Up 1.5. Up .6. Down 2.5. It's a slow, slow, slow painful process and I'm sick of it. Maybe it's me and not the scale. I doubt it though because I am perfect in every way!

I confess...I'm really proud of myself lately. I've been crafting, up-cycling, organizing and cooking, yes, cooking!, up a storm lately. I think I'll change my name to Suzy. Suzy Homemaker. I've made a whole bunch of different recipes in the last month that we've never had before. It's because I get in a rut and cook the same thing practically on the same damn night over and over and over again.

I confess...I'm tired.

I confess...I'm finally able to volunteer some time at the boys' school. It's fun to see how much smarter my kids are than certain other children.

I confess...that was mean.

I confess...I can't help it if it's true.

I confess...I'm over at Surferwife's place today. I am one of her "fashion contributors." Ha! It basically means that every Friday I will be making fun of celebrity fashion faux pas. FUN!

I confess...uh...I got nothin' else.

Hey. Where the frack did my signature go? Hmph.

If you don't have a Kindle, or other reader, can you still download free books? Will you be able to read them on your computer?

I'm so proud of you for cooking!!! That is huge!! I know exactly how much time and effort goes into that! I am pretty proud of myself, too. I've actually been cleaning! Even the bathrooms! That is a big step for me. :o) Have a great weekend, MiMi!

Oh going to have to head to that blog! That could be dangerous.

And so jealous of your cooking. I have been doing really good cleaning, crafting, but cooking-- yea barely doing it lately. Have to get back into it.

I am addicted to the best sellers free columns on Amazon. I download books all the time from those lists. I may or may not have far too many books to actually read right now sitting on my Kindle. I'm hoarding for camping season.

You better start sharing some of these new recipes!!! I've been in a cooking rut for about 20 years now... Darn kids are getting too picky and at the end of the day, I have NO idea what they'll eat... (It's mostly my DIL and MIL...)

LOL; I feel like that about my boys too. Or at least, some of the, uh, dimmer kids in their classes. ;)

I love the 'my kids are smarter' so funny. I think all parents do that! But what do the parents of the stupid kids do? Oh wait, that was mean. Scratch that. But what do they do? haha

Oh I never heard of this Frugal eReader....LOVE it tho!
I am in a crafting mood...I have decided I will craft something up for every holiday. Now to see if I can stick to that!
I need to get on that cooking bandwagon tho. :(

Where DID your signature go? WTheck?

Hahaha about your boys - I know the feeling! It IS fun!

I want to make fun of celebrity fashion! I'm going to go check it out after this.

I'm totally checking out that free e-reader books thing too - Bookworm needs some stuff for his Kindle!

I'm proud of you too for all your accomplishments - I wish a little of it could rub off on me!

Yay for cooking!! I am guilty of making the same things over and over :( Last year, about this time, I broke out of the rut. But now I'm back in it :(

I'm going to change your name to Suzy Homemaker in my phone.

the only way to have a relationship with a scale is a once or twice a week meet-up. Any more than that is just depressing...think of your scale as that manipulative friend that you like to be around when she makes you feel good about yourself, but sometimes, she is just needy and annoying and leaves you feeling like crap. You don't hang out with that girl every day, you don't even call her every day. That friend is perfect for the once a week lunch meet-up. maaaaybe, if she's been good to you, twice a week. Anymore than that just makes all the effort you put into the relationship not worth it.

I want to take a sledgehammer to my scale so I feel your pain. and really? there's nothing like the gratification of realizing your kid is smarted than someone elses... however awful that might be :)

You are awesome! I use to volunteer all the time in my sons class, I admit I don't anymore. I think photobucket is tripping, could your "mimi" be lost because of that?

I tend to get in a rut with cooking too! But I'm ok with it. I like what I like!

LOL to the volunteer thing!

I just bought a scale. I'm a little scared to see what I weigh after pigging out all of February.

Ooh, I've never heard of the Frugal ereader, is it for the nook too? Good job for trying new recipes! It's so easy to get in a rut.
And the scale thing? I only weigh myself once a month, because really, your weight fluctuates hourly, daily, and sometimes by the minute ;) A better judge is how well your clothes fit, and if they are becoming looser or not.

I do enjoy your new contribution over at Surferwife's place. I'm looking forward to much, much more. ;)

Also...should you get yourself all organized and cleaned, let me know so I can email you my address. Free room and board in the sunny (and warm) south in exchange for cleaning and organizing. And cooking. Really...how could you possibly pass that up?

Get a new scale. One that will be CORRECT. It must not be a health-0-meter...or whatever my brand is.

I just signed up to receive posts from Frugal. I LOVE me some free books!

I compare Emma to other kids her age. I totally do. And I almost always think she's way more advanced. HAHAHAHA! Watch her fail kinder.

Off to check out your guest post....

Yup ... that's a good site. Check out Pixel of Ink ... harder to get featured there ... great place to find some good reads too :)

I confess I hate my scale, too. I also confess that I love your face.

Hate cooking sooo much. I have pinned lots of recipes. Sadly most of them are goodies! hehehe.

It's not mean to be proud of your smart kids! Way to go!

I have to go check out this other site now. :)
