{1} What is your go to color if you paint your nails? do your toes and fingernails match?
No matchy matchy here. In fact, I just recently started painting my toenails. I hardly ever paint my fingernails because one little chip will bug the sh*t out of me and I will either a) have to fix it and walk around with wet fingers all day or b) take it off.
{2} Have you ever gone for a mani/pedi? how often do you go?
Never had a pedi. I think I had a mani once?
{3} Do you color your hair? do you have a salon do it or do you do it yourself?
Uh. Anyone who has been following my blog for any amount of time is well aware of my coloring problem. I do my own. I do it often. Well, every few months. And sometimes I pick the wrong color. Then I have to fix it. And it looks stupid.
{4} Facials...have you ever had one?
Nope. But I need one! I think.
{5} Would you or have you ever done botox?
Never done it, but I might! Who knows. I have this bitch stitch that I would love to botox away.
{6} Beauty knows no pain, do you believe in waxing, electrolysis, eyelash extentions, anti-aging creams, micro-dermabrasion, peels, botox?
Sure, to each his own! Do it, don't do it, I don't care. I probably need all of these things but I'm too 'po to do it. That's probably the only thing standing between me and looking like the cat lady:

Oh no, I did a big shudder too. Yikes. Love the bitch stitch - I have that too. I think it helps me to get my way sometimes but I wouldn't mind it leaving either. :)

As for the whole beauty routine--mine is pretty minimal. I wax my legs myself, paint my own toes in the summer, and if I color my hair, I do it with one of those demi permanent kind that washes out after like 20 washes. I guess my routine is do it yourself?

The bitch stitch? Is that the line that goes down between your eyebrows from frowning? Because I have that, too, and am seriously considering botox for it before my reunion in September. ;o)
That poor woman. I think she must have some serious internal issues to do that to herself. But maybe not. I guess I shouldn't judge.
I have thought about botox for the very same thing. It drives me NUTS! But considering my cruncy hippiness, I think botox might be a TAD hypocritical for me. Darn.
red. deer valley and spice from opi to be specific. i do max's toes in the same color. i never paint my fingernails. i file them once a week or so, there is no schedule. i hate getting manicures. they always make my cuticles peel and hurt for weeks after. i LOVE getting pedicures. i wish i went every month, but i usually go twice a year. i ALWAYS go a week or two before i have a baby. to a really fancy pricey one. it's a ritual of sorts now. i can't wait to schedule it:)

I used to be like you for #1 - my toes were usually painted, but my nails never were because the chip so quickly. But in the past 8 months, I've started doing them myself once a week. My Friday night self-manicure. Yeah, they chip, but I live with it!
And...yes. *shudder*

chips in my nails drive me nuts. i used to never paint them but i started doing it once in a while and i get all these compliments, since i'm a compliment whore i can't stop doing them. i just thought no one ever noticed. now i know different.
i wish my budget permitted more pampering.

I'm the same way about polish on my fingernails. One little chip and it bothers the crap out of me. So I usually just stick to painting my toenails!
Cannot believe you've NEVER had a pedicure. You must get one!! But then you'll get addicted to them...honestly.

Oh I had to keep scrolling to try and keep that picture off the screen! I loved loved the last facial I got- it was heaven. I never paint my fingernails or toes- too lazy and it always looks messy

that lady is HORRIFIC! and I think my husband would appreciate you... I do all of those beauty things and frequently {highlights, facials, mani/pedis, massages, laser hair removal, etc...} it apparently takes a lot to keep me cute ;)
I'm shuddering at that picture. I think I've seen that lady before on TV or something. For some reason I think all plastic surgery looks almost alike. The lips, the eyes and cheeks. No thank you, I'll keep my natural looks. LOL. Cheese I almost ducked when that picture came up. Scary!

I am with you not vein enough for pain. My elliptical machine and and cardio pain is about all I can tolerate for vanity. Needles are not in my future for sake of beauty.
I so paint my toenails more often then fingers for the same reason you mentioned. Speaking of spa treatments, you already know I save money and time doing my own hair often as crazy as that is, I don't pay for manis or pedis either. However I was asked to enter a recipe contest by Saucy Mama and if I win I get a $500 spa day!!!! Fingers and toes crossed.
Pedicures are like really cheap massages that make your feet look cute! I highly recommend them.
