WWTK - I'm Hungry!

null

Today I'm going to link up with Mamarazzi and Crazymama, who asked the questions this week, because I really don't feel like fighting with my sewing machine right now.
{1} What is your favorite go to breakfast recipe for special occasions or company?
Um. What am I? A restaurant? Nothin'!
Maybe if they're lucky some donuts. Actually, nobody ever stays here so I don't have to do breakfast. Or. It could be because of that whole, "I'm not a restaurant," thing. Wow. I am a jerk!

{2} What is your policy for kids that don't want to eat what you are serving?
Um. What am I? A restaurant?
If ya don't want to eat it, you still sit at the table and whine no matter how miserable it makes me.

{3} Do you take treats to neighbors? What kind?
Um. What am I? A restaurant?
Wait. I'm sensing a theme here. Have you read about my neighbors? I don't take them anything. And they are really lucky!

{4} What is your most used spice in your cupboard? (Besides salt or pepper)
Garlic powder or something. Possibly cinnamon. Maybe pizza seasoning. I dunno.

{5} What is your favorite fruit ? Do you have a Fave veggie?
I am my own favorite fruit. I know what you're thinking.....conceited!

Bonus question....

{6} It was tax day here in the US. Did you get a return? How do you spend it?
Got a refund. Put it in the bank. Will slowly drain it throughout the year to pay bills. I love being 'po.

You keeel me!I think my answers would be similar to yours. I don't cook breakfast for company mostly because I never have company and if I did? Meh...donuts are in the bag on the counter. Fight the short person for them.

Irishman is the breakfast king. :O)

I absolutely LOVE that you are your favorite fruit. You are a genius. <3

I got my tax refund back in Feb and it's been sitting in the bank slowly ebbing away by little things... and I HATE that!

I should have specified that Nick cooks breakfast, not me, most of the time. I do the other meals so I mostly avoid actually cooking breakfast.

Bwahahaha love your answers. We're so po' we can't afford the or either. Blah! It's not forever, right? It can't possibly last forever.

Remind me not to stay at your house ;)
Totally kidding! If my kids truly don't like it- meaning they have tried a few bites then they are welcome to make themselves a sandwich but I am done cooking. Lately they have liked everything I have made mostly because I have been so lazy at cooking that I just make simple things I know they will like-- yet they still manage to whine about something at some point.

You rule. I am going to send you home with brownies to take to your neighbors. Whatever you put in them on your way home is not my business. :)

this totally made me laugh!
I dream of having company stay with me, just so I can fix them a big country breakfast and a big country dinner. A big country lunch (what is that, anyway?) never seems to make it into my fantasy...probably because we go out to a restaurant for lunch in my fantasy!

Yeah, one of my favorite things to make is reservations.

Ah, who am I kidding? Like I can afford to eat at restaurants that take reservations.

That's my favorite thing to say to my kids, Do I look like a restaurant? LOL or sometimes this isn't burger king, you cant have it your way!

I have always said that when the kiddos come along, I'm not a short-order cook. They eat it or they go hungry. We'll see how well that works out.
