Alright friends, I'm back today to tell you about a fabulous opportunity I was provided recently.
FTD offered me a beautiful bouquet of flowers from their Better Homes and Gardens line to review. You're probably asking, "Why do I care that you got flowers?"
Well...let me tell you why.
One of you lucky readers is going to receive a $50 dollar coupon to use towards a bouquet from the the same line (and there are more to choose from than the one I received) to use for you or a mom you know for Mother's Day!!
Um. Hello?? You're welcome. Okay, don't thank me, thank FTD, but whatever, I like all the kudos I can get.
If you want to check out all of the beautiful bouquets and have another chance to win, go to their Mother's Day Giveaway Sweepstakes page on FB and poke around. Like them while you're there in order to keep up on the Sweepstakes. One lucky winner wins a trip to St. Lucia. Oh. My. Gosh. I want!!
Let me show you the bouquet I received on Monday. And let me tell you that this week was perfect to receive flowers because I haven't had a worse week (or 3) in years.
These are the way they arrived. And the picture does not do it justice, you all know I'm not famous for my photography skills.
I may have did a small "squeeeeee!!!" when I saw the gerbera daisies...favorite!!
Tuesday evening...still looking beautiful, not even a hint of wilting.
Wednesday night...still going strong!!
Seriously beautiful flowers and any mom or someone special in your life would love to have them, I am positive!
So...wanna win?? Here's what you do...tell me what your favorite flower is and who you'd send a bouquet to if you win.
Easy peasy. And just in time for Mother's Day!

I'm so glad you received such a nice treat. I hope they helped make your week a little better. I love any orange flowers, and irises are my favorites. If I win, I would send flowers to my wonderful 84 yr old mother. Thanks for the chance to win. (I hope things continue to improve for you.)
If anyone deserves those flowers, it is YOU! They are really beautiful!
My favorite flower is a stargazer lily. However, Gerber daisies come in a close second. I love the bright ones! And if I won, I'd send this to my grandmother for Mother's Day. I feel awful since I didn't go back to Memphis to see her for Easter. The least I could do is send a beautiful bouquet of flowers, right? :o)
beautiful flowers!! i love calla lillies and if i won, i'd send a bouquet to my mom!
I love peonies and I would send flowers to my mom!
beautiful!!
tulips are by far my favorite. and can I send them to myself? I'm selfish like that :)
I really love the ® Garden Terrace™ Bouquet, those are beautiful. I would give them to my mom.
I love Gerber Daisies & I'd probably send them to one of my great girlfriends.
I'm doing this giveaway too except I don't have my flowers yet. =( But I told him I would be home so maybe he's waiting.
Anyway, I've been missing you! I'll catch up one of these days. xoxo
My favorite flowers are daisies (both the gerbera ones, and the plain but oh-so-cheerful white with yellow center plain old daisies). I also adore irises, mostly because my grandmother had them in her backyard when I was growing up, and they will forever remind me of her and of that house. No idea if they were her favorite or anything, but to me, they symbolize her. Daisies were my mom's favorite, and I sometimes see them when I needed a little reminder that she is looking out for me.
Mothers' Day is probably my least favorite holiday. My mom died a dozen years ago, when I was 16. I have no living grandparents, and I am not close with any of my aunts. Mothers' Day, admittedly, depresses me a little bit, and makes me wish I had a mom to shower with gifts and flowers that day.
That being said... I would use the money to send flowers to my best friend. She is twenty-two, has two young sons, and is probably the strongest, most amazing people I have ever met in my life. She put herself through community college while working and raising her now-almost-four-year-old. She then worked for a while, all the while taking care of her kid (hands down, the best young mom I have ever met), helping her parents out (they are both disabled), and always making time to let me call her and cry or vent about whatever thing I have had going on in my life. She then put herself through a technical college, and finished while she was pregnant with her second child. She is going through some really hard times right now, between realizing how much of her life she missed out on while watching other girls her age go out and do fun things that girls her age do, but always admitting that she wouldn't trade her boys for anything - no matter how fun the young, single, childless life looks, and now, her mother is in the intensive care unit at a local hospital, undergoing countless tests to try to figure out what is wrong with her. We went to the hospital last night to visit her mom, and I wanted to cry as I watched her feed her and help her sit up in bed. She was so strong until we got outside and I asked if she was okay. She's been through a lot in her twenty-two years, and I know some flowers would really brighten her mood on Mothers' Day, especially this year.
those are sooo sooo soooo pretty. my favorite flower is a Gerbera Daisy but i really love anything PINK!
i would send flowers to my sister in law Kristie who just gave birth to her first baby...my little nephew Benjamin Scott. It's her first Mother's Day, she deserves something special and i would love to do this for her.
in closing i would like to say, you look REALLY pretty today.
thanks.
My favorite flowers are tulips. Or lilacs. Or roses. Or ... well, I just like flowers.
But I'd still say tulips top my list. They're so bright and spring-y.
If I were to get these flowers, I'd probably send them to my mom. I haven't sent her a Mother's Day gift in eons because, ironically, giving her the gift of three (almost four) grandsons has stripped me of my extra "buy-Mom-something-for-Mother's-Day" cash. :)
Sadly - and shockingly, I'm sure - I'm morally opposed to FTD.
Pretty flowers, though! yay for you!
I would send them to my mom. My dad lost his job a while back, and I know she is working very hard at her job, trying to get by. My favorite color, oh that's hard, I love pink, purple, yellow, turquoise, just about every color really. Thanks for the chance to win.
They are GORGEOUS!!! And I love Gerbera daisies too! I always thought they were called Gerber daisies because they're as cute as a little baby.
I would send them to my own mother. She's having a rough week... year... whatever...
My favorite flower is the tulip and I'd send it to Mom! What a cool giveaway!
I love tulips and gerbers! What a pretty bouquet! I would send them to my mother in law who is going to start chemo soon! They would brighten her day :)
flowers make very space a little better!
Gosh... I have to pick a favorite? But I love soooo many! Tulips, lillys, gerbera daisies.... In that order?! Shooosh idk. I would send them to my mom. One week after Mother's Day we will have the two year anniversary of my sister's death. We all love flowers... I hope to bloom smiles :)
I too am a fan of the Gerber Daisy. And of course I would send them to myself. That's allowed, right?
