I've been thinking about my kitchen for a long time. When we first moved in I loved it. I love the cabinets, I loved the wash that is on them which makes them a really light color.
Over time that wash has started to chip. Bleh! So I've been dreaming of a DIY kitchen project. And when I say DIY I really mean DIH as in: Do It Husband.
Anyway, once I get this dream DIY kitchen I will get to do my favorite part. Decorating!! I love decorating. I want to make it pretty and functional.
For example, right now I have my spices all tucked away in my corner cabinet. I have been seeing these awesome spice racks though...and I really want an awesome spice rack!
It would be pretty and functional!
I have a friend who has a wall spice rack and let me tell you, it's the focal point of her kitchen. I want it. Her whole kitchen is done around the spice rack and it's fabulous.
And I bet if I had them all displayed pretty like and out where I saw em....my food wouldn't taste so bland. Ha!
