I thought I'd share a funny little story with you all today. I'm still recovering from some major baby fever...I may never fully get over the cuteness. Oh my heck. Seriously!
Thinking of my new nephews makes me think of my two boys and the silly things they did when they were babies and things they do or say now that crack me up.
This one is stars my youngest.
Oh Little Boy...the conversations he ignites.
The scene: Watching basketball. And in case you don't keep up on it, here's a little background. The Miami Heat are playing against some team, I don't remember (ha!) and one of the Heat's players is Dwayne Wade.
Little Boy: "Drain Wade for 3 points!"
Big Boy: "It's Dwayne not Drain."
Little Boy: "That's what I said! Duh-wayne Wade." **pauses before saying it again really fast** "Drain Wade!! See? That's what I said."
Now daddy and I are laughing and talking about Drain Wade too.
Change of scene: Same night, a little later.
Me to boys: Hoo hoo is a funny word. I've heard people say "hoo hoo" instead of poop.
Boys: Haahahaahahaahaahahhaaaaaa. Hoo hoo hoo hoo!!
Daddy: In the next room, sarcastically yells, "Ha! That ain't no chocolate milk though!"
Me: Huh? Chocolate milk?
Daddy: You know, Hoo Hoo...the chocolate milk...? **apparently he was making a comment about chocolate milk...diarrhea...something gross like that.**
Me: That's Yoo Hoo!!
Daddy: Uhh...oh.
Me: Maybe you should just keep it to yourself, Drain Wade.
I wonder where Little Boy gets his excellent pronunciation skills...?

ps: i'll be around sometime this week. i don't know exactly when. i've got baby brain and company from out of town. so i'm a little bit insane in the membrane.

Drain Wade! ha! I love how little kids talk :)
I don't know how you remember this stuff. I'm going to keep a steno pad with me at ALL times. Or better yet, a recorder. Because I'll never remember all of the funnies that are about to come our way!

I've been following your baby fever on facebook. Those twins are so freaking adorable! I can't wait to get my hands on this little baby boy in my tummy!!!!! But seriously, twins are hard work! You may want to adopt one for the first year or two. ;)
Hahaha that is too cute!
The twins are just too cute!
Bahahaha... Drain Wade!
Sorry I haven't been on here lately. But the twins are the cutest. Hope you are enjoying being an aunt.
Hahahaha!! Kids crack me up, they say the darndest things ;)
Drain Wade-that reminds me of that terrible knock knock joke, drain the tub. Hehe.
Very sweet little babies! I have baby fever bad too. They smell so darn good.
LOL! I love your comment at the end the best. ;)
I think my favorite mispronunciations from my kids were when Aubry was little she said "hippyhose" for pantyhose and Ashlyn still says "curface" for cursive. :) I have no idea where they came up with either one of those!
I use "hoo-hoo" for vagina. This is the first time I've heard it referred to as poop! :)
Lol! Too funny! I love Yoo-Hoos! Draine Wade! hehe
