You could tell we were approaching the end of the school year because I was getting all sentimental.
Waxing poetic on my boys' youth...how they're growing so fast.
Things like the fact that they now love basketball instead of cartoons makes me sad.
Things like the fact that I print out NBA logos for them to litter their walls with.
Something that still reminds me of the little boys?? They color those logos. With crayons.
And thank God for that.

love those boys...they will always be little, just close your eyes and remember, ya know when you are having one of those "gah, they are big boys now" moments.
pretty soon they are going to STINK!
*sigh* well...they do grow up. Even if they never grow out of crayons. Just bought myself a shiny new pack yesterday!
haha I do this damn near all the time! I nearly start crying because my babies are getting big.
I turn into such a sentimental sap when I think about how quickly kids grow up, so I get it!
I'm so glad your boys are still being little boys! :o) I just hope that crayon is staying on the logos and not the wall. ;o)
Yep, they need to grow up but only in slow and tiny bits at a time.

Tell you what is depresssing to me, the fact that on July 5th Walmart was having "back to school" sales. I always hated when my kiddo's went back to school and to be reminded of it the first of July is just wrong.

Just looking at the calendar, I've been hit with this too. School is starting again way too soon... 1.25 months left...

I always thought moms were nuts. Hanging onto the little things. I get it now.
I had a hard time packing up Aubria's 0-3 month sleepers.
They all grow up and there's nothing we can do about it!
Kids growing up truly is a bittersweet thing. But yep good they still use crayons.
