Alright, friends.
You all know, I hope, about Connie's and my book club, If You Give A Blogger A Book...Club.
We have a group on facebook that we discuss the books on and it's really a fun conversation. You can join any time you want, it's not a scheduled meeting, and you don't have to get dressed up! For example, right now I'm wearing red velour pants and a BRIGHT ORANGE hoodie. I totally didn't need to tell you that and I probably shouldn't have, but I love you and I would do anything for love...but I won't do that. (name that obscure reference for a brownie point.)
We also have a new fan page and we talk about all kinds of different bookish things on that page!
Connie is the main force behind this book club, she is the one who thought it up and came to me with it and, of course, being a bibliophile, I said YES I wanna do this with you. And I've loved it.
We are kinda small but we've actually been at it a year. So this month is our Blogiversary and we have some really fun things planned for you!
In the past, every single thing we've given away has been provided by myself or Connie. And when I say myself I mean Connie. Really, she has bought and given away the lion's share of everything. Out of the goodness of her book lovin' heart!
For the Blogiversary we wanted to do something on a larger scale. We are doing a giveaway every week for 4 weeks and we have SO many cute things lined up!!
We have some awesome friends on board who have donated beautiful things and even some wonderful etsy shop ladies who have agreed to donate pretty things. Connie's giving away a book and I'm adding a book bag, aka ruffle tote.
Seriously. Who doesn't want something like any of the things we've got planned??

Do you know how hard it is to pick a favorite genre when you are an avid reader? Almost as hard as listing a favorite book.

Okay, I will spread the word. I feel unworthy to enter because I never read anymore. Like ever. Hence (I love using that word - it proves I used to read, once in a past life), I have not been active in the book club, nor have I read any of the books.

I also love reading, but have been doing more writing lately, which leaves little time for reading.
I'll still go enter the giveaway. I could always use another book to add to the huge stack beside my bed. I may make that a new thing...collecting books beside my bed. You know, see how high I can get the stack before it falls on me in my sleep. It could be fun.

Thank you for locking that song in my head lol. I really need to read more, I used to all the time but I love being in bed when the husband is and he can't sleep with the light on. Maybe I'll have to finally give in and start reading on my iPad.
