The Best of Super Bowl 2013 Commercials

So my kiddo was sick on Super Bowl Sunday and I didn't happen to catch all of the Super Bowl (oh darn) or all of the commercials (oh darn, for real!).

And also I have ADD so I kept getting distracted by the squirrel. And that's not even a lie.

Anytangent, out of what I did see, these are my favorites!

I always find things that are just on the edge of inappropriate funny.

That's just plain funny, right there.

This one is just sentimental and I love it.

My thoughts on the "most controversial" commercial? You know the one by Go Daddy where the hot chick makes out with the total nerd? Meh. It was gross but not offensive, to me. Sex sells with some people, but I've never been one to put much stock into the blatant or subliminal sexual stuff. In case you didn't see it I included the link.

By far one of the funniest things of the night was when the Random Blogette's husband put this for his status update on Facebook and his lovely wife was kind enough to share it with us! This was regarding the power outage in the stadium:

That guy that Ray Lewis murdered years ago just haunted the Super Bowl on Ray's last game. Karma is a bitch.

If you don't know what that references, you have to google it.

So did you watch?? Did your team win and what were your favorite commercials?? Cuz that's the most important part to me.

I loved the old people going out to a club! I want to be that awesome when I am that old.

I really don't follow football but hubby wanted the 49ers to win so I choose the Ravens. We made a bet and now I don't have to do dishes for a week! But he if planning on buying plastic plates and silverware for the week.

Some of the commercials were soooo long. I lose interest after 45 seconds. Haha! I didn't see the Ram one. I like it! My favorites were Jeep, Tide, and I seriously cried at the Budweiser commercial. Oh and Best Buy just because I love Amy Poehler. The kiss just sounded gross. If they made out to music to drown out the sloshing noises, I would have been ok with it.

There is a liberal professor in Boulder (i know, right) that feels that the Dodge commercial was supposed to be named So God Made a Republican and that Dodge was RAMing that down her throat. Can you explain to me why anything patriotic or at all related to FAMILY and HARD WORK...is Republicans raming things down their throats? Anyway.

I loved the Old People Taco Bell commercial and the Volkswagon commercial.

I loved the Dorito's commercial! That was funny! I didn't see the M&M one. Was that a kardashian bitch in there? I can't stand those girls. Why are they famous??

The farmer one was good too. And the horse one that made everyone cry except me b/c I have a cold heart.

Did you know that with the GoDaddy commerical, they had to do like 56 takes? Can you imagine being HER and having to kiss HIM that many times? Ewww!

Thanks for linking up. You know I love you like a whore loves crack.

I thought a lot of the commercials were really good. Was NOT a fan of the Go Daddy one... it grossed me out. I think the sound effects were too much.

LOOOOOVED the farmer one, LOVED IT!!

I missed the Doritos one, sofa king funny!

I went to bed, I figured the commercial would air again on regular TV eventually.

Miss you!

Thanks for joining the party!

Those were great commercials, I missed them thanks for sharing!

The farmer one gave me the chills, I come from a line of farmer/ranchers and I fully support our farmers and growers! I don't know why I was shocked that it was a Ram commercial though... haha

OMG Dave kept me laughing all night long! I'm glad he's earned himself a special spot on Wednesday's lineup. ;) I'm going to have to watch these when there isn't a baby sleeping next to me. But thanks for putting them up!

I didn't watch the Superbowl. I am inundated with school work and reading. Bah! :(

My favorite is the Ram one about the farmer. Missed the first half of the Superbowl looking for a house with cable to watch the game on because we don't have a TV! LOL. Thanks for sharing the infomercials. Love it.

No kidding! The commercials are the only thing I enjoy on a Superbowl Sunday! However I don't even watch the game... And just watch the reviews of the commercials later on Youtube... or your blog...
That Doritos one is priceless! Umm could be.

I watched over half the game but did not really see any commercials I loved. Even the one with Paul Rudd for Samsung, who is adorable in my book, was just so so. Hope you and your son are well. Hugs.

I didn't watch the game. I didn't even have a remote desire. Isn't that awful? I was just not feeling it this year.

the m&m commercial was my favorite! I loved the one with the old people staying out all night and being wild while the "we are young" song played- I think it was Taco Bell- too funny!
I'm Kasey btw- Love your blog!
